The Oko Box

The Oko box blog is a great read on organic fashion, environment and eco lifestyle. I found the blog whilst checking out all the links to my etsy store and found the lovely lady Leslie :) had featured me back in January and March.

What a sweetie. Now that I have found her blog I catch up on all the rave of fellow eco friendly designers, latest ranges and hot enviro news. It’s like a one stop eco fashion mag. love it.

Her store The Oko Box has a gorgeous selection of sexy clothes for men and woman. Fabulous designs I plan to fill my own wardrobe with. My May favs.. this sexy duo and the next must have statement top

Ecoskin me alive

One of my most wished for item on my wish list is a dress from ecoskin
How cute is this number, called the Peridot Dress. You can get it and the rest of thier range from NIMLI. This is a online shopping plaza for the stlish earth lovers ;) my current most favorite shopping destination and (hopefully) soon to have my own designs!! ecoskin designs are modern, sexy and so very practical. Not only are their designs gorgeous and must haves, their business ethics is worth supporting.

Understated, sensual and feminine in its approach, Ecoskin is inspired by the Italian Riviera and the women who live and play there. "My vision is to continually raise women’s awareness of their options," says designer/owner Sandy Skinner. "We can combine eco-friendly fabrics with a high design asthetic." Ecoskin is committed to donating a percentage of proceeds to animal and earth friendly organizations and charities.Fabric: Tencel is 100% Organic and biodegradable, extracted from wood pulp taken from tree farms that only practice sustainability. Bamboo is 100% naturally grown, requiring no pesticides, insecticides or fertilizers. Bamboo is also one of the world’s best sustainable resources, taking in 400% more greenhouse gases and producing 35% more oxygen than standing trees. It is antibacterial, antifungal, and antistatic.

Welcome to my first words

Welcome to my first words ;)

I have a passion for environment friendly ways of indulging in fashion, art and decoration. Why? To make myself feel better for having a addiction to dressing up, and mainly cause this industry is ploughing and poisoning our earth away. Let us create a new industry. The Eco safe fashion industry where Green is the new black.
So here I'll share my finds, my inspirations and anything that pleases my eyes, heart and soul.
