Sexy and Organic!

Eco underwear hasn't looked so sexy!

Doesn't the beautiful Brooke Chamberlain look fabulous modelling in my shoot yesterday? I really want to use natural beautiful woman in my imagery, and Brooke is 100% photoshop-free and natural! I love at the happy and healthy glow she radiates in all the shoots she does with me. Though... sometimes we do offer her a little champagne is help with the nerves and the cool weather ;) But what fun would a lingerie shoot be with out a little bubbles!

Much thanks to Brooke for her gorgeous body, Photographer Heath Missen for his snapping skill, Nicola Morgaine Emanuel for glam makeup and Sevika for sexy bed hair.

'Together we can sew the seeds of change in the world'
-Savar and Meg (Beej Designers)

Beej's natural, feminine and vibrant designs 'are a fusion of east and west'
'... Beautiful cool cotton garments with superb hand embroidered detail. Easy wear and easy care. Embroidery designs are based on Australian and Indian wildflowers.'

Another inspiring talent from Byron Bay, Meg's clothing label is ethical fashion and is about preserving arts and culture, while supporting global communties and our earth. Check out the Beej site and the images in the gallery will touch your heart.

"The woman all come together at Manju's family home. The all sit on the grouns and love to talk and work at the same time. The people of India spend their life close to the earth, sitting on the ground is very comfortable for them, chairs and tables are not common place in rural communties."

Beautiful, etherial and divine

Peoples talent just blows me away and I must admit a little green part of me cries, but a big part of me wants to scream "Oh my god that is divine". Today I got a comment from Mady Dooijes about my own designs, yet when I checked out this ladies own blog I did the above mentioned scream. Her sister blog abundance is full of photography and poems that are so so beautiful and made my heart yearn and squirm.
Thanks Mady (do we the same or similar name?) for bringing some fire to my belly today xxx

Byron Bay Designers Part 7.. Eco Intimates

I hope it isn't too forward of me to do the last Byron Bay Designers on myself. I am just so excited about my new range coming out I thought I would give you a sneak little preview of whats about to come. I have finally finished designing the organic cotton jersey 15 piece range and now preparing for the photo shoot with my gorgeous muse/model Brook Chamberlain. The snaps above are from a fitting we had yesterday in my freezing work room, poor Brook was shivering in my little cotton numbers.

Before I jump into my first production run I want to get some production advice to not only make sure they are sewn perfect as possible, but can to be sewn easily and efficiently. So I have arranged to meet with a designer friend to pick her brain about the best way of sewing each piece.

My delightful new range Eco intimates will be coming very soon to my Etsy store xxx

PS... new organic cotton jersey and hemp silk/satin in colours has finally arrived!

Byron Bay Designers Part 5

Next on Byron Bay front is the talented Miss Haidee. She has the cutest designs with recycled vintage fabrics for babes, girls and woman. Below are some on the pretty yet funky pieces in her range.

I choose 2 styles from each of her baby, girls and woman's ranges to put up, but there are other styles available on her website, or at local Northern Coast NSW market stall.
